Dr. Lawal Mohammed Marafa is a professor in the Department of Geografy and Resource Management, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include tourism and the environment, tourism policy and education, ecotourism, leisure, recreation planning and management, natural resource management, knowledge sharing and management for development and sustainable development related to the Millennium Development Goals of the UN, and Africa and China
