Why would an unknown Chinese car manufacturer better succeed with Volvo Cars, than the American car giant Ford?

Year 2008 Volvo Cars was considered down and out. The owner Ford wanted to sell. None wanted to buy. Volvo had a difficult time trying to match the international competition. Finally a buyer emerged: Chinese Geely. Never before has such a big car company in the West been bought by a car manufacturer from China. And never before has the following success been more sensational. The critics claimed that the new ownerwould have all the Volvo factories moved to China and then start producing budget cars. But the croakers were proved wrong. Today we know that Volvo is stronger than ever.

The journalists Håkan Matson and Anders Nilsson, tell the story of the incredible journey Volvo Cars has been on in a decade after Chinese Geely took over Volvo Cars.
